Sun Gold

If there is something this variety accomplishes daily for the last week or so, it is wetting my appetite for bigger, juicier tomatoes.  Although it has not been as prolific as I’d hope or as the description promised, I take into account that the plant has suffered drought one weekend and I had to remove damaged leaves.  Less leaves, less photosynthesis.  It is recovering beautifully, I think – – – blooming, setting fruit, and has new growth throughout the plant.
